Back to Basics - Honey Tea

Only when you think you cannot sink any lower...
That's when you discover, "Oh yeah, this is the new rock-bottom."
Anything worse than a mother and a son being sicker than a dog?
That would be a whole family being sicker than a dog at the same time.

This cold that infected Jay over the weekend has now spread to every member of our family.
With the miserable hacking cough, none of us have been able to sleep very well between our own coughing rampage and being woken up by others' misery. However, the luxury of life in Texas allows us to spread throughout the house to minimize this, and if it wasn't for the various pitch of cough that echoes from every corner of our house, we wouldn't even know if one another is surviving or not...

Although the effect is somewhat short-lived, the only thing that seems to ease our scratched throats is the good-old honey tea. A cup of hot water mixed with honey, ginger, and lime (we're out of lemon!) has given us several good naps so far... (knock on wood.)
