My Little (and Not So Little) Valentines

Do you like Valentine's Day?
It's interesting that many say they don't.
For me, it's just indifferent--I've had neither a steller nor an aweful experience so far.

Aside from being stuck at the doctor's office all morning and running around all day for both kids' school parties, Valentine 2008 turned out to be pretty decent.


Last night, Rachid and Jay decorated the Valentine's box to take to his school. I went out to get my nails done with my girlfriend, and I came back to this beautiful thing, sitting on our table. The only problem was that it attracted too many moms' attention at school, and everytime someone asked Jay if his mom helped him decorate it, he had to correct them, saying "Actually, no. It was my dad that helped me. My mom wasn't even home!"

Rachid and Master Beater have been working very hard to take CC and me out on a surprise Valentine's trip for this weekend. The only information shared so far? We need an evening gown, clothes to go out in, and a swimming suit. Valentine's Day might become my most favorite holiday after all...
